Environmental Technician
Ms. Emilie Wigchers is an Environmental Technician at ASA, specializing in marine fisheries and plant monitoring and environmental data collection. She supported ASA on various field operations as an intern and joined ASA as a full-time employee a year later. Emilie assists with stormwater and combined sewer overflow (CSO) sampling; conducting assessments of fish eggs and larvae in the field and in the lab; monitoring the entrainment and impingement of aquatic organisms; collecting water samples; and research on algal blooms.
Emilie holds an MA in Marine Conservation and Policy from Stony Borok University, NY; and a BA in Environmental Studies from Seton Hall University, NJ.
