Endandered Species Act Support
The Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973 is intended to conserve and protect endangered or threatened species and their habitats. If a project or a facility were believed to impact threatened or endangered species, then the entity may be required to develop a habitat conservation plan and incidental take permit, and get approval US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) or National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS).
