John Dimitry
Senior Scientist
Mr. Dimitry is an environmental scientist with more than 24 years of experience in designing, conducting, and managing studies to evaluate environmental impacts associated with thermal discharges, surface water withdrawals, and hazardous substance releases. Mr. Dimitry is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and specializes in managing programs under §316(a) and (b) of the Clean Water Act and Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) studies. He has fulfilled key roles on in these programs including compliance strategy development, study design and implementation, project management, lead spill responder, contractor oversight, report writing, and agency negotiations. Mr. Dimitry has worked on projects throughout the Eastern and Gulf Coasts of the United States and is particularly familiar with the Delaware River, Estuary, and Inland Bays.
